Well My bud if glass fibre then your 1600 engine should do well for dune climbing. He,hee got you. In all seriousness the bod looks awesome with the higher back and front cuts. Plus, the flares in the arches should do for some nice rubber. Thinking of doing the mods bud

Those flares look much like the Mk2 Sani flared fenders.... And yes, it looks like the fiber glass option.

No matter what it is - it's butt-ugly!

..... will go nice with 45 profile 21" tyres and spinners, though!

I think it is some sort of kit you buy for add ons, looks bit like a Terracan now.

I have seen these things on other vehicles as well.

Terracan ir the previous Pajero flared fenders, but with a more racing look. I must say at least the fiber glass is cool off road.

I dropped my backside into a embankment a while ago and the fiber glass can not dent, it cracked a bit, I little body filler in the scratch and away we go. The guys with a metal bodies dented deep.

WOW ok, I agree that it must be kit. It is much bigger than I thought when you see it from the front. Stands out way too much I think.

It looks like the body kits they use on Yankee long-travel suspension trucks (Baja Desert Race).
