Depending on the condition of the batteries I might charge them with the CTek if they are low just to top them up but the batteries does not work at that time. They are fully charged and serve as backup while extending their life. If the two isolators are not disabled the Hercules will then also unintelligently charge the batteries continuously at 13.6V which can damage the batteries if kept on to long.
Hi daanvs, I was always under the impression that the Hercules 20 is a trickle charger?? Is this not the case??

When I opened it up and tested it it was providing a steady 13.6V to a single bus which is connected to all the 12V outputs. No seperate charging circuit. If all the 12V outputs are in use it will provide close to 50A current to the bus, way more than the 1.5A of a typical trickle charger. The Hercules 20 can definately overcharge your batteries. Be careful. I upload a diagram for you of the Hercules internal wiring.Hercules 20 Diagram.pdf

Try SA Shade in Brackenfell, I bought one from them. They manufacture and supply to some of the caravan dealers but will also sell to the public at a price that is well below 'dealer price'. https://www.sashade.co.za/

Can't help you in Cape Town but I got mine from a chap in Pretoria - custom made for the XCape , excellent fit and great protection. I can get the name if you want me to, I'm sure that delivery could be arranged.

I also got mine from him.
    Good cover.
If you make a noise or need music in the bush or on the beach, youíre missing the point.

Hi all you good people. Need some help. Just acquired a 2015 Xcape fitted with a National Luna 50 Twin Weekender on a base mounting plate. I still have my National Luna 90 Twin that was in my previous trailer. I believe that the 90 will fit if the handles are removed and I assume that I will have to buy a new base mounting plate to fit the 90. Has anyone done this before and can give some advice on what to do. Does anybody have a base plate for the 90 that they want to sell?

Would anybody be interested in a cargo rack that goes above the spare wheel? It attaches with the standard bolts that hold the jerrycans on the back, so no new holes required.
Ideal for storing poles, ground sheets etc.
Price on a complete unit is R3500.
I have one kit ready for powdercoating, lead time around a week.

Hi. Are you still making the rear cargo rack?
