On average I get 12.5 l/100km. I think the roofrack causes higher consumption.

    Hi there.

Mine is currently standing at 198 000 odd km and thus far all seems fine, I bought it 18 months ago 2nd hand and as far as I know I am the 2nd owner.

My consumption on the open road stands at 10l/100km and after I did the EGR blank, New ATF, ECU reset and ran some injector cleaner through the tank it currently stands at 11.3l/100km in town.

That motor is strong - more than adequate.

I averaged 10.42 l/100km over 5 years and 117 000 km for my 2006 model. Mostly city driving, most of the long distance driving has been towing a caravan. I thought that was pretty good. After I bought the Disco4 as a replacement I now think the 10.42 was absolutely fantastic.

Oh, and the motor is great, enough power and torque. Other than the clutch problems it was a fantastic vehicle.

I have been to Nelspruit and back this past weekend, measured consumption on the on-board computer of 8.9lt/100km. Centurion to Nelspuit and back on one tank.
