Mata Mata Border Control

Does anyone know what the current protocol is regarding using the border crossing at Mata Mata to exit into Namibia and then return through Mata Mata. I have picked up this link that says you can only enter through Mata Mata if you spend a minimum of 2 nights in the KTP but cannot find this reference elsewhere?

Does anyone know whether it would be possible to enter through Mata Mata, spend the night at Twee Rivieren and then head across to Mpaathutlwa Camp (effectively 2 nights in KTP)

remember that form SA to Namibia you have to sign out of SA at the Twee Rivieren camp !! This cant be done at Mata-Mata.

Namibia border post at Mata-MAta - so sign OUT at Mata-Mata.

SA border post at Twee Rivieren - so sign IN at Twee Rivieren.

Laura, wouldn't advise going to Mpaya from Twee Rivieren in one day.

It's an extremely long drive.
