Ah ok Mike...I hear you and experience the exact same but am willing to live with it as it makes a HUGE difference when towing and able to drive at 90 km/h comfortably in 4th...I travel extensively in Africa.
I am sure someone here would probably buy your disco txf box from you...or maybe even swop??
