    Some good woodwork skills Bolshoi,if you didn't had the skills you could also consider putting your arm in a sling to get it out of the way.

    Anyway the drive up north/east went well and the armrest was a great holder for the food, whilst it was on the back seat with my arm resting on a pillow

    You really should keep all valuables in the back, hidden from prying eyes. Smash and grabs are very common these days!

    It was a bit too high and got quite annoying as it was on height of the Gearstick so changing gears meant lifting my arm up high, also trying to turn sharp corners was not very nice.

    Yes Kurt I agree I wasnt near any of the smash and grab hotspots though, or in fact near anything so i wasnt too worried ...this time
