    Default Recommendations - light 4x4 caravan /semi off-roader

I am considering a two or three man caravan that good for light off-road use.

But want it to be physically light. The nomad conversion is my fist choice , but it seems they a bit over priced and rather large. The Jurgens range is very heavy .

    Any other choices ?

I want to be able to drive at easy 110 km /h. My car is very powerful but don't like wide bodied caravans. Is there something out there that I missed?

You have surely missed the Bushlapa!
Have a look at www.bushlapa.com or enjoy the reading of the Bushlapa thread here on the forum.

I may have just the van for you ! Our Bateleur --one year old and only used for 3 weeks is for sale due to my husband's failing health. Very light. Privately built, 4x4 with ease.17" wheels. Only 1.8m wide. Opens on the same principle as the Skipper caravans. Wide double bed and single bunk. The lid folds open in 2 sections bringing up the tent. Ample space to stand upright inside and loads of packing space.
