    Default Teardrop Offroad Caravan

After a loooong down period - we got the project up and running again. However it may look like we took a few steps back it is now in full swing again.
Dip galvanizing did not materialise, I opted for a product that I was introduced to a couple of months ago...Rustanode. It is a reactive galvanizing paint. Applied right onto “yellow rust” and one can weld onto the galvanized steel.
Everything was dismantled again and frame treated with Rustanode.
Some cnc work is to follow on the cladding and new cupboards which will hopefully save some time.
This time around we plan to not take the foot off the accelerator.
Doors are being coated next week and rubberising on mudguards....
then putting some of the stuff back on and drawing up the project on SolidWorks

Yip - we anticipate that the finishing bits will take up most of the time, i.e rubber seals. Hopefully once we have the measurements and drawings done the cladding and insolation will go quickly. We just need to plan wiring and piping well before we clad and insulate.

Cost of the Rustanode, I have got a trailer that's in need of the same treatment.

Did you redo the welds in the square tubing that was not fully welded?

Yes we did. And we missed a couple which then showed up better after the paint and luckily we can weld onto the Rust Anode

Saw this product at a local business, it might work well for panels etc in off-road trailers.
