For my LED lights I went to conqueror and bought the black sealant that they use on the trailer panel joints.
I put some of that on the back of each LED strip and stuck them down, I first did this over a year ago on the kitchen light, now done for all the others. I hope I never need to get them off... they are officially going nowhere! probably overkill but it works!

Default Mod 6 of many, Tarpaulin

So a few weeks back I got my tarpaulin custom made by Jackalberry, as always they did a great job. So this weekend decided to brave the cold to ensure it worked out as planned.

A few small adjustments to make to avoid water collection, otherwise, very happy

The various mods depicted so far are all practical and well executed. It all seems to be done on new trailers ie not extensively used and towed on typical Namibian and Botswana sand and gravel roads. I would appreciate feedback on how well the mods stood up to this sort of punishment, specifically wrt the sturdiness of the kitchen units, ie how many glasses got broken, how many items got dislodged from its tie downs etc – and then more importantly, what did you do to prevent it from happening again? I have used my Courage in those conditions and just about everything got dislodged and damaged in some way

@ HILUX01 when you replaced the wheels with 17" Toyota rims did you add spacers, because the hilux rims are +30 offset and conqueror uses 0 offset rims ?

Hi Gotto, I have taken my courage on numerous long haul trips from rough gravel to soft sands of Botswana pans. I am comfortable to say that that everything stays in place ... Of course all big items that can be are bolted down are.

As for lose items, it is for this reason I made my kitchen a slide with 2 meat trays ... So everything goes inside the trays.

The only lesson I have learnt is that if you have any plastic cups don't travel with them stored upside down in the trays as they vibrate and land up getting an almost sand papered rough edge on the lip.
