I have been going through my boxes of old photographs. Thought I'd share these. The Hilux pics were taken in Namibia during the early 80's. The river crossing is the White Nossob after some good rains. If I remember correctly, that was the 1st Hilux 4x4 model. Later, with a small family, the Cruiser served me well during the late 80's. Diving trips to Sodwana made up many of the kilometers on that thirsty beast. It was a 1988 model, if my memory is still sound. I think those square double headlights came out in '88. Picture taken in Barberton.Click image for larger version.

And the newest addition to our family.

A close on 1200km round trip to Bethlehem to fetch it from Petri yesterday. An uneventful trip back to the Lowveld other than an idiot who attempted to be run over in Hendrina.

Took the 105 for a quick play in the mud and another look at Klipkoppie Dam this morning.

I will be starting a new thread in due course of this vehicle working through all the little issues and returning it to itís former glory.

Yes, we went through Bethal on the way back to White River. Off topic completely, but why is all that rubbish on the way into Bethal on the side of the road?
