Nice pics - look like fun - but that wheelie on the quad, riding wiout helmet or protective gear - bad example... helluva lot of fun though

riding wiout helmet or protective gear

    Hi

This is my Before and After pics, I took off the Alluminium side steps and replaced the tyres with BF's. Next on my list is the IRON MAN upgrade hopefully by Feb's next year.

I have finally succumbed to the force of the dark side, and might be driving a Toyota soon...

    You won't be sorry.

    That car is "bullet proof"

    Some niggles.
Rattling dashboard. (Put in an extra brace)
Steering rack. (Make sure that one is good)
Aux plugs. (Fit Hella plugs. The ones in the car are very flimsy. Cabling is also to light)
Viscous. (Make sure that one is good.)

She will bring you home every time.

PS. There is no computer that will give you error codes. You won't need error codes in any case.

Thanks Henris, I'm looking forward to many troublefree kilometers. I haven't picked up any rattles in the dash during the test drive, and the rest seems in order as well. It also has a full service history, and although it has seen off-road action, I can see from the condition that it wasn't anything extreme.

If all goes according to plan, I might be able to pick it up this afternoon.

The dash doesn't rattle on a tar road.

When you take it on gravel, the whole centre of the dash bouces up and down. It is a problem on the 90 series.

Thanks Henris, I did a short bit of gravel and no problems so far. Touch wood!!

Here's a couple of quick shots I took tonight, will get some better pics on an outback trip, hopefully soon! As you can see I did not venture too far off the tar, don't know how good Toyota's are yet... If it was my Jeep I would dare to go at least 5 meters further off the road.

I think your next stop should be Alice Springs. (For a beer and some fuel.)

    Enjoy.
