Default advice on a range rover classic 1988 v8

    Hi all

I have the opertunity to buy a range rover 1988 v8, a few small engine issues but everything else is intact and it has 4 new cooper tyers on it. The seller wants R10 000, I would then look at selling off the parts.

Are these parts in high demand? Will I be sitting with it in my driveway for months stripping it?

    Advice would be helpfull.

I may be intersested in the Coopers and tailgate (Top part) if it has no rust.

    For R10k?

Take it, the tyres are worth that at least. The Range Rover guys will fall over you for the rest. Can I have the axles? I'll pay R2,500 for the pair, R3,000 if I can have the brake pedal, booster and master cylinder?

Sheesh, 10k for a RRC? If I could find one with only minor engine troubles for that price, I'd jump on it

Make contact with Adriaan (RangeRover) on the forum, he has 3 RRC's. He might be of some assistance.

    Pix! Where are the pix!

Sell the engine, gearbox, axles and tyres.
The rest you'll probably have to give away or sell for scrap metal.

Valuable parts include body panels, diffs, windows, powersteering, carbs and gearbox. Rest is scraps... Just about. For pricing check Rangies.co.za
