    Default Comments please trip to Namaqua and Richters

    We are doing a trip to the flowers and Richters end of August and would like some input please as it is the first time for us in this area.

    We are travelling alone in a Navara 4x4 quipped with 60l water tank, rtt etc etc...

    We are leaving the 23rd August

    Pretoria
    1 Witdsand Nature reserve - 2 nights
    2 Springbok -Geogap Reserve - 1 night

    Plan to take a turn off the N7 and go down the Wildperdhoek pass and enter the Namaqua National Park from that side. Not sure if it is possible. Then take a very slow drive thru to Kamieskroon, Leliefontein and Garies arriving at Nieuwoudtville for supper

    3 Nieuwoudtville - Olive Caravan Park (Van Zijl Gastehuise ) - 2 nights

    4 Skilpad National Park - Coastal Campsites (Skuinsklip) - 2 nights

    5 Port Nolloth via Hondeklipbaai and Klenzee (coast road need permit) - 1 night

    6 Richters Veld via Sendelings drift - De Hoop - 2 nights
    7 Richters Veld - Kokerboomkloof - 1 night
    8 Richters Veld - Richtersberg - 1 night

    Exit via the Helskloof Gate and travel via Lekkersing to the R382

    9 Springbok - Geogap Reserve - 1 night
    10 Keimos - Old Skool B&B - 1 night

    Might seem like a long way around, but the road to Witsand via Bergenaarspad pass is something I would do.
