bought my double air pump a long time ago and now the bag is falling apart ,so i bought this plastic box ,put a handle on the lid and strapped it so the lid wouldn't get loose when taken out of the colt ,even found space for the tyre repair kit in it's own box.

Don't know what I last posted, none the less here is my progress with the modifications to my touring bakkie.

I have a drawer that holds 4 ammo crates amd my fridge. I have had some steel cupboards lazer cut and then bent and powder coated which I installed, A galvanized shelf with rectangular tubular frame acts as a middle brace as well as allowing me to store more stuff ontop of it.

The space underneath the shelf and between the cupboards holds a large Addis Rough tote and a 40L water tank.

There is an Auxiliary battery in the back with a NL battery box, multiple LED lights and plugs available inside the canopy as well as my 1200w inverter.

I added some rubber trim to the steel cupboards as I did not want to damage anything with the sharp edges.

I really respect the skill and ingenuity you guys have, I, sadly, am cursed with 10 thumbs and a critical lack of DIY capability, none the less fortune favours the brave and I'm pretty pleased thus far.

    Hi The Hoff,
Sorry for the late reply, exploring the Wild Coast. The tarp is kept taut by the amazing (lol) engineering.
I will post a video showing more detail.
    Have a great year.

Daar was geen planne nie alles in my kop uitgewerk. Will be posting a video soon showing more detail. Don't know how to post pics here. 😢 Reason for the design was to have an awning that I could erect by myself leaving the swambo to do what swambos do.

Hi Mr. Arendse, just wondering if you did post the video with more detail or alternatively some pics regarding how you keep the canvas and frame taut. I like your concept a lot and as you said, you put it up and undo it single handedley, thats a huge bonus.
