This was really very easy to build. The connect-it connectors I used made it very simple to get the frame done. It was then just building the trays with aluminium angle iron and mounting the sliders to the frame and the trays to the sliders. Just bolted it to the xt-120 floor and also created 2 brackets to mount it to the side of the trailer. And all that coming from someone with 5 thumbs on each hand.

Too many to put up. Our Defender has many additions from rear drawer, battery box, load guard and exterior side LED work lights.

However if you have time please take a look at our trailer. Eighteen months very hard work. Only four people worked on this. Myself, Mike our daughter Rachel and a friend Ian who did the chassis welding.

Luckily we could at one time do these things. Sadly new legislation no longer allows

We've just come back from our three week holiday with the trailer, it was great.

You need to connect them in series to get 12 volts.

    Default Rear 12v power points

I built this just to have 12v in the loadbin area, no duel battery system as yet...! This works like a charm!! (The box connects via a short extension cable)

Packing system for our Everest - built by two amateurs - 25mm square tubing, Connect-it connectors, rivets, sliders from Furnlock and 3-ply plywood. Storage: Fridge slider, two drawers that take 6 ammo boxes, two shelves accessible from rear passenger doors(lower shelf for battery box and 25L water container and top (tent, mattresses and other gear - all tied down securely)
Excited to give it a try next week at Marakele and Mapungubwe
