p8 poseidon looks 'kinda' like a commercial aircraft.

They should get the black box locator in the water around there.

No substantive proof though. The balance of probabilities certainly suggest that.

    Default Malaysian 777 missing

Based on Inmarsat analysis, not actual evidence. Last position recorded as being west of Perth in Southern Indian Ocean, based on the analysis. Announcement by Prime Minister of Malaysia. Basically says no one survived. Expected but still devastating.

    RIP

    this is scary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IqWal_EmBg

it basically shows how confused pilots get at what sounded like 25000 feet due to hypoxia after depressurization. put this pilot in the missing 777 with no radio and you have one confused pilot trying to find his way...

    very possible

    here is the explanation: http://avherald.com/h?article=428a428b

    it ticks all the boxes

so they finally use the satellite info (pings), which was available in real time, to pinpoint an location, 2 weeks later.

this is disappointing. it would mean they actually had the ability to know something was wrong as and when it happened.

no hoping they find the wreckage and black box so we can understand what happened, but at this point my theory is as per post #286, since it clearly happened before.

Yanks are bringing in their advanced "ping tracker" to find the black box before the signal dies. I think they must have found enough debris to be pretty sure they have the location. It all ties up. Also preparing robot submersibles to send down, planning on 6000m.

We'll know pretty soon I reckon.

I had a very interesting chat today with a great friend of mine and a highly regarded aviation expert. He has come to the conclusion that the Yanks was involved in this. He feels they had all this info about the ping and more and never really got involved with anything. He says they will find reasons why the black boxes cant be recovered or data wont be recoverable.

    I smell something.
Google, british women using Tomnod and British women Natalie Eyre using Tomnod
British women using Tomnod find plane
20 Chinese engineers on board involved in secret radar chip development, patened at that time.
There are 6 patent holders ( partners) in this venture, 5 were on the plane guess who is number 6 and the survivor will receive everything.
The pilot receive a call just before boarding from women with a unregistered sim card with a fake ID
    flying under the radar
pilot practised to land at the Maldives
pilot divorced but stays with women in same house
    just some facts

There is officially so much nonsense being spread about this that I suggest everyone google their favourite story along with the word "conspiracy" and check it out. Example

    http://www.snopes.com/politics/consp...ysiapatent.asp

Edit - bwahahhahhha, perhaps this is one of the women that found it on Tomnod ...
