No wreckage could mean it was being stolen for a future use. What about it being packed with a nuclear payload and used (in the future) as a suicide flight? Are there any unfriendlies within it's range where it could of landed, "lost" the passengers, refueled and departed for far off lands to be parked / hidden until needed?

The twin towers was a very ambitious plot meticulously planned and carried out. This could just be part of the next bigger plan... It would explain the very high interest in this case.

Or maybe I've been watching too many movies?

Someone on an aviation forum said an airline pilot having a simulator in his house would be like Hugh Hefner having a blow up doll.

As far as I know CAA approved flight sims count as flying hours for pilots.

I can assure you that plane is not in Nam. The authorities would have locked the pilots up and deported the plane immediately.

If it was a hi-jack or sabotage the guilty would have claim it within hours. Nothing suggests that the pilot(s) were suicidal. Something went wrong with plane and it will be found somewhere some day. Remember the plane that was found after nearly 50 years in the Sahara desert? Just bad for the families not to know!

There are apparently 634 runways where MH370 could have landed with it estimated fuel range.

    Source of info.

That leaves a lot of possibilities for hiding away the aircraft someplace with a govt that is not friendly to the West.

There is also some speculation that the increase in altitude to FL450 prior to turning west was done deliberately to disable/kill the passengers due to oxygen starvation. FL450 is way above the normal flight ceiling for the aircraft, so its pressurisation system would have been unable to keep the cabin supplied with air while the pilots would have been able to use the pressurised oxygen supply in the cockpit before returning to normal flight levels.

In more credible news, Bloomberg reports that the ocean off Perth may be the airliner's most likely last known position.

but the pilots can turn this off at any flight level from the cockpit. no need to go to fl45. you can take off with the pressure regulator or whatever off and everyone will be dead by fl15

If they are having such problem with position, I would take any altitude measurements with a saltmine.

seems the Indian military radar was not active (according to bbc) at the time, so it could have flown north west and not be seen by them....
