Maybe if it was running on 2SO it may reach our shores!

I dont buy the heading to SA story. - They would need permission from the Guptas.
I dont buy the landing in India story. - A plane with Mag wheels and a boom box sound system and twin turbo RR engines would be noticed right away.

I remember in Angola, about ten years ago. They had impounded a jet and insurance companies and the owners were trying working out how to recover the jet.

What eventually happened, was that someone paid off some people at the airport, and managed to fly the jet out and it simply disappeared.

The sequential thing I don't think holds much water, some of the signals only ping every half an hour they might have just sent signals at different times before failing or the systems shut down at different times due to fire or being on different delays or whatnot when the systems started failing.

A brief recap on today's events:

    1. Malaysia has confirmed reports that the diversion of MH370 was a deliberate act.

    2. Last signal from MH370 was five hours later than previously thought.

    3. The families of those on board have raised their hopes that the plane might have landed somewhere

    4. The missing aircraft could be as far north as Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan or as far south as the southern Indian Ocean.

    5. China has expressed its anger that Malaysia has only today provided substantive information

    7. Huge US military presence at Langkawi airport.
    8. Police protection outside pilots and crew houses.

    Interesting.....

    The plot thickens.......

But in short nobody has a cooking clue where the plane is or where to really search for it or if it has landed or crashed.

I didn't see the point of them searching the pilots houses. It's too big to fit in a house.

My theory based on latest info:

it didn't go north. india/china/russia/US in afgan would have picked it up . it didn't go south west as the US base at Diego Garcia would have picked it up.

it went directly south after exiting Malaysian military range west of its last radar contact until it ran out of fuel.

motive: someone wants to ruin Malaysian airlines.

I suspect there was a high value individual on board who was extracted by some spy organisation. Plane probably dumped in the sea.
