    A UFO snaffled the aeroplane....
N.Korea put a missile up it's tailpipe and it vapourised...
Maybe the aeroplane never existed in the first place...
Somebody shot out the toilet door and had rapid decompression failure when the rounds penetrated the hull...
We will hopefully find out what happened, one day.

CNN now says data may put it in the Indian Ocean after a 'blip ' was heard above Indonesia.
One thing we do know is a nasty turn of events re Malaysian Air...a ticket from KL to Langkawi normally cost Rm50 but was bumped Monday to Rm650 !!!

Thanks for the update Duncan. Let's hope they find the aircraft sooner rather than later.
That is quite a radical price increase

yep sounds like the search is relocating to the west into the Indian ocean. The US is getting more involved as well.

according to CNN, some of the communications and feedback systems were shut down sequentially, which would indicate it was not a catastrophic failure but rather a deliberate act.

one suspects the pilots because what terrorist would hide his actions in this way?

More from the BBC, which is reporting that the plane may have been flying for more than five hours after it disappeared.

They report that a satellite system operated by London-based telecommunications company Inmarsat received an automated signal from flight MH370 at least five hours after the plane was reported lost.

The signal could only have been sent if the plane was intact and powered, and may explain why search teams have moved to the Indian Ocean

FIRST ON CNN: A classified analysis of electronic and satellite data conducted by the United States and Malaysian governments shows Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 likely crashed into the Indian Ocean on one of two flight paths, CNN has learned. One flight path suggests the plane crashed into the Bay of Bengal off the coast of India; the other has it traveling southeast and crashing elsewhere in the Indian Ocean, according to the analysis.

The Boeing 777-200ER with 239 passengers and crew members aboard departed Kuala Lumpur at 12:41 a.m. on March 8 in good weather. It was expected to land in Beijing at 6:30 a.m. Air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane about 2:40 a.m.

Seems USA is getting very involved. Langkawi airport now looks like a US invasion. Never seen so many planes in one spot . All US military markings.

What's really messed up is how long its taken to get the information shared.

Seems the various players are too proud or competitive to openly share the info they have.

    Default Malaysian 777 missing

Just watched the live media statement by the Malaysia PM. Movements of the plane consistent with deliberate actions, pretty much stating a hijacking. They are ending the search over the South China Sea, and moving it west

Is it possible that the aircraft had a previous route still programmed into autopilot, which was accidently activated by dying pilot?

Malaysian Prime Minister named two possible corridors that the flight could have taken, one, direction towards Kazakhstan, the other direction towards South Africa. He also announced that there was satellite data transmission some 6 hours after the plane disappears from radar.

Should we start looking at Waterkloof for the missing plane?

Unlikely. There is evidence that all the transponders were all turned off sequentially. Not an act of someone dying.

Bunchat if you find the plane you can maybe build one of its engines into your isuzu :-)

No seriously, would it have the range to reach us?
