    Default Kubunyana Campsite

    Hi guys
I need some information on Kubunyana Camp, Kwando Caprivi. Has anybody visited it recently. Are the better options in the area?

    Thanks
    Chris

What type of experience are you looking at?

    Hi Kurt

We are a party of 5 vehicles (self drive) and are going camping. We have already booked two nights at Nambwa and would like to get another two on the eastern side of the Kwando. The only options that I can see is Camp Kwando and Namushasha. Unless we take a chance with Mudumo. However bookings there seem t be a problem.

    What do you think.

Try Mudumo Mamili. Nice! Why worry about booking?

We should like to camp Mudumo but are unsure about the camps and stands. Do you think we should be alright in July(SA School holiday).
We would not like to get there and there is no camping sites available. Or is it similar to Khwai Community Camp where you set up camp where you please.

Chris, there are 3 sites in Mudumu. Mostly unused. Cannot be booked. If not available, move on to Rupara campsite at Mamili. Also nice.

If you want to cross over to the other side of the Kwando river, you can camp at Nambwa. Very nice. 5km from the Horseshoe.

Thanks Oscar. I've already booked with Nambwa and I think we'll follow the Mudumo unbooked route for the other days.
