These guys seem to actually try to do something, and not just criticize and talk. As a non political organization, they try to fight for the minority. I think the government takes notice of them, and I think it is important to have organization like this, because an individual have not the same authority as a large group of people. What do you think?

I donate R200 per month via debit order to them. We really need someone to take government to task, it's pointless for people to be keyboard activists while they can actually help people willing to do something.

Agreed. Also a member. They are a civil rights organization and have achieved some success in taking government to task e.g. their cases against the SAPS and DCS. I see them as the eyes and ears of civil society to prevent this government from emptying out the cookie jar lock stock and barrel.

R100 per month IIRC. Less than a KFC take away for 2.

    Who's AgriForum then?

I would still like to know if AfriForum & FF+ collaborate or at least engage one another.

2 different types of organisations - one is a civil rights organisation and the other a political party; one actually does get something done and has more members and/supporters than the other....

However I think they both have more or less the same objective at the end, just different ways of going about getting there - I don't know if they collaborate, does it matter? I do think that one of the big reasons Afriforum is so successful is the fact that they do not bind themselves to a specific political party...

That and the fact that they have level headed leaders like Flip Buys (Solidarity) and Kallie Kriel (Afriforum)

Dis 'n boere ding, jy sal nie verstaan nie

Agriforum was a television program on Saturdays (verrry early in the mornin) focusing on agriculture way back when the Maties and Bulls still won rugby games, Oom PW was still wagging his finger and Eugene was still considered to be a competent horseman
