    Dankie almal.

No organization is perfect for all. But I support most if not all of their actions and I genuinely do not believe they are racist. They do focus on the white minority more but all human rights fights are in their focus.

The two are so far apart as being in two different universes.

And no, they donít only bat for one group.

Overcoming that misconception is probably going to be one of their biggest challenges.

Different profiles. I'm a member of both. Solidarity because I was never a union member and I need a union. Afriforum for minority rights.

Meant it as either/or. But Jelo answered that question.

Belonging to both then covers a wider spectrum

I've heard Afriforum being interviewed by their critics who accuse them of all sorts of things.

Afriforum always have empirical evidence to counter the accusations. Yet the critics and accusations remain.

I am a member, they are not infallible, but they've done and do a lot of good for South Africa. We need more organizations such as them.

I agree with what they do and stand for, i just did not with the phone-call every two days begging for more money , it made me think of a guy at a robot trying to make eye contact, manipulating you Into giving him money.

R 600 a month on a stop order and they begged for more , i cancelled all of it to just get rid of the harassment , i mean after loads of requests not to call me, they never stopped!

I am also member of both Solidarity and Afriforum, and yes they have affiliated bussiness that ask forvthis and that. I usually do not get more than one call every two months. Just politely say no.

I spoke to many , asking not to be called again, have been referred to managers and have many personally guarantee me they would not call , Saying that they made a note on the system , then just to have a call the next day.

Believe i tried, and just had enough!

I also did a monthly donation, cannot remember R200/R300 or so, but eventually last year I got tired of all the calls, threatening seemed to made no difference so I had to carry through, one more phone call and you can remove me from your records, another phone call 2 days later, and that is the last time I spoke to them, or contributed to their kitty.

Yes, they do good work, but enough is enough...
