    Default Iveco rims - Help

    Greetings

Can anybody help me to find an alternative rim to the standard Iveco one, as I would like to be able to fit wider tyres on the vehicle. There is an Aussie made rim (17 x 9 I think) that is perfect, however is not available here I am told.

I am aware of the LA Sports option, however don't like the idea of the adapter plate which results in the tyre protruding beyond the wheel arch, which makes it illegal unless one flares the arch out beyond the tyre.

    Thanks

    Mark.

Agreed to contact otorhome. As a matter of interest, why are you considering changing your tyre size?

They look the business. But you will need wider rims for these (8.5 - 11" recommended). The stock rims are only 6.5" wide. The nice thing is that you are still on 16" wheels, and count as normal cars at toll gates, and not as a more expensive category. But you will still not be able to recover mine if necessary

Its a little heavy at 5500kg. Had additional springs put in the front so handles much better .
