    Default Bushman tracker 1 Trailer

    Please Help

Im Interested in purshasing an off road trailer for the family (two kids) to go camping. Have looked around at various trailers and have come to the realization that a new unit is out of reach, even the second hand market is quite pricey.

I have however come acrose a Bushman Tracker 1 trailer that appears to be in good nik , fully kitted , and has a new engel fridge for 40k.

Can anyone out there advise if thay have had any experiance with a bushman and if it is in fact a quality unit. Afraid Im rather new to the whole trailer thing.

Take it. Dont hesitate, you won't be sorry.

I saw a Bushman on a Sunday morning, the guy said I was the only person who responded to the ad since the Thursday. He wanted R23k for a 2 year old model (in 2001). At the time a new one was R42k

I thought it was a bit steep, but phoned him the Monday morning and offered him R22k, but the trailer had been sold on Sunday afternoon.

I ended up buying the Desert Wolf at R62k, R40k more than I wanted to spend, just because I hesitated....

Ive been in the market for a second hand trailer for a while and was shocked at their prices. Saw a four year old Echo 3 for R66k and offerred the guy R58K as a new one would be R78k with the same spec. He sold it the same day for R66k!

I ended up being fairly lucky when a dealer offered me an "old stock" Echo 4 at last year's price, R9000 below the current list price. Steeds 'n stewige klompie geld!

So I agree - do not hesitate when you see the right one. I saw an Echo 3 "with all the bells and whistles" advertised today at R40k, which I think is a steal if it has all the bells and whistles! I will get the telephone number for you when I get back to work.

Cell no: 0825750318. It was advertised in Die Volksblad of today and I suppose it is available somewhere in the Free State.

    Default Thanks

Thanks Gents for the assistance and advise.
Have phoned the guy and pleased to advise it is still available.

Will pick it up on Saturday and will post some pics.

    Cheers

    Hi Jp

Did you get the Bushman or the Echo in the ad?

    Enjoy it....

You will not regret buying it, it is a very nice trailer that. Very well built, should last a lifetime.
