I had my front brake disks skimmed and that solved my issue.

Replaced all tyres on Saturday with Conti World Contacts.

Mentioned to Bestdrive that I am really struggling with the wobble. After about 2 hours, they called and said one of my rims just will not balance with any of the tyres, and they have been trying and trying.

So they took the spare rim and tried that, and voila, no more wobble. Not sure if the one rim is out of shape or what.

I bet you they balanced with the cone on the machine and not the studs. The center hole on Jimny rims is NOT 100% rotationally centered, nor true. It is just a hole to mount the cosmetic axle cap. One cannot therefor use the cone on the machine to attach the rim as it may not be properly centered. That 1 rim may be just the worst of your set.

In my case proper balancing was the key solution.

Thanks Jab2, they used both methods. And previous balancing and alignment attempts at other places also used both. However, previous ones kept blaming the car and not tyres or rims.
