RH Driive in Saudi

We are contingency planning in case we have to avoid Egypt on a trip to Europe. Plan B would be to get a ferrry from Port Sudan to Saudi and use a 72 hour transit visa to get to Jordan. Does any body know if it is permitted to drive a RH drive vehicle in Saudi? If not, could the vehicle be transported on the back of a truck?
