Default Anyone been to Karma game ranch near Vereeniging?

I am looking at some nature trails in the Vereeniging area and I picked this one up in a Google search: http://www.karmagameranch.co.za/activities_overview.php

Anyone tried it? Any other suggestions for some nice places to visit?

So I got a 7 page quote from them, and I hope to go check it out soon. (I attached only the relavant bit)

"Our 4 x 4 route has not been rated, but it is a very difficult route, as the farm is situated in the Suikerbosrand mountains. Just to mention that we’ve had a very good rainy season with mud and branches in the road making it more of a challenge."

Interesting, never heard of it. Do they allow day visitors? When are you planning on going?

Hi. Looks like the Eco drives are available for day visitors. I attached the complete quote for more information.

I STAY in Vereeniging and I have never heard of it... I will see how my weekend works out and then I'll take a drive there and see what the place looks like. According to the directions it's pretty close from where I stay. (Like 10 minutes away!)

I'm more worried than curious about the content of that PM... Should I be?

So I took a drive there today after church, and found the place abandoned and all the gates locked. There is a sign at the entrance that reads "by appointment only", so I unfortunately have nothing to report.

I plan on phoning them and finding out if and when I can view the property.

Awesome! Glad your visit was more successful than mine.
Have you driven the entire trail? How would you rate it regarding difficulty and so on?

    Please do keep us posted.
