    Default Lesotho trip jan 2014

    Hi all,

    We leaving for Lesotho tomorrow morning ( 12th jan2014 ).
    First stop hogsback and then Lesotho. Will post pics and keep everybody updated.

    This will be my very first trip in my first 4x4. Really exciting stuff this haha.

    If anyone suggests you take the Katse turnoff on the A1 close to Tlokoeng, shoot them

    It's probably the only 'tourist info' sign we saw on our trip, and promised abseiling, canoeing etc... Only problem is that it must be a grade 5 4x4 route, due to the road not being used anymore. We turned back 50km in - the 100km round trip took 9 hrs! (Incl some mech issues). This was early Dec '13.

    Try and get good info on routes, or stick to the main roads...

    back home from our trip, what an awesome experience.

    i will return to Lesotho anyday.

    i will post a proper trip report soon with pics, lots of pics.
