Bundu, my taste in tyres are Bighorns, BFG Muds, GYWrangler MTR and Cooper STT. It all depends how serious you want to get in the veld, and how much road performance you are willing to sacrifice, but thats another story for another thread.

So far I've only done De Wildt, Hennops and a training day at Protea Eco-Tours...

So many other places I'm sure
When ever you guys are around let us know and we can make a plan for an outing. Ask Big Red, we had him cruising AD dunes till 11pm at night.

    So what's news all...

All I did this weekend past is mow the lawn, watch the rugby, and get to know Wynn's Revive a little better while polishing out the scratches from when that tree ran into my Jeep at De Wildt

It's tough in Africa! Sat - Braai on Glenashly beach, Sun - Braai at Brighton beach. Gee what a hard life.

But. I spent 6 hours changing a starter motor, Fri and Sat.

    Default De Wilst rock face

That rock face is vicious on the left. We were there a coupla weeks ago and everybody made it up there on the right. Diff lock crawl can get you up the left if you know what U doing.

Here is the video of group up that one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqNLr2OBZV4

And my baby getting up there for the fourth time in as many visits to this track.

    Default Weekend

We gona play at Mahem on Sunday 16th. Some of the guys not so sure after all the rain... Maybe we get to ride some stuff we have never bothered with that now has become interesting enough with all the mud... I got my new muds on and not had much chance to play with them.

Only significant thing they have done (and I apologies if it was any of you guys) was liberally coat the trees and two Toyota (Fortuna and a Hilux) at De Wildt a coupla weeks ago when I went through a mud section in 2 wheel drive. Thought it would be interesting to see if I could make it that way instead of in 4x4..

    He he

Good thing you got those Mud tyres there bfreesani, looks like they'll come in real handy today.... the rain has been chucking down all night.

My day is gonna be fun, I've got Crapyear Wrangler SR-A's which are due for replacement in the next few months, so I'm expecting minimal grip and maximum slippagel

    Woohoo!

    Exclamation It rained all night

Bundu, have you decided where you going to get dirty today?

Looks like today no one needs their spray on aggression by Chuck Norris... Today you get the real thing..

Hope you got a camera along for the ride.... I love pictures and video.... Reminds me that my last trip to Groenkloof had a video or two that I should have posted to Youtube.. I drop all my vids there, main search keyword is "abcab".. Youtube has just started loosing track and the order of my videos, so they are just all over and no longer grouped per play session.
