    Default Atlantis dunes - NEWBIE

    Hi all.

    I would like some information on where exactely the dunes are, entry price (permit ??) etc. I will be in / around Cape Town Decemeber and REALLY want to go there. Would also appreciate some (atleast 1) member to maybe join me for a day. (I'm not that bad, i drive a Nissan ) And i drink Castle

    only diesel isuzus, v8 prados and jeeps allowed at AD and you will have to change your drinking habits to Windhoek!

    Then there might be some guys going on Friday the 20th, but it'll be difficult to say now. Keep an eye on the Atlantis dunes thread in the Western Cape section closer to the time.

    Also in slaapstad more or less the same time. Definitely want to visit Ad. Maybe mors than once in the short time.

    Hunter, there is a gang, called the FAC (Flippin' A-holes Club) that are heavily involved with Atlantis Junes, arrange your day through them...

    I'll be at the dunes on the 20th - from 14h00 December.

    I am working this December so will be around.

    Remember we only drink the castle when the trail is done otherwise it upsets the locals.

    IFX - Thanks for the link, that's the info i wanted.
    Manny - I've read alot about you on this forum ... So i'll ...
    I won't be able to make it the 20th. I'll be traveling to Stompneus that day. So i'll get the permits and go to AD sometime. Look out for the Nissan 3.3 with Nissan4x4 forum sticker

    Gunhog - I agree, thread should go to WC section, sorry.
