    What a load of crap.

Yes it does make me go faster and harder but it does not pedal on my behalf.

Check out @Musashi's (Niel Gerryts) ride in the group activities... (Tankwa Trek) That is inspirational type riding for us weekend warriors. Well it is for me at least.....

and, Thanks to Strava & checking out other's rides I have found some routes that I did not even know existed.

I suppose it's each to his own on how you use it. Me, I am to crap to chase KOM titles...

P.S. He finished 29th over all....

Great ! We are doing the Ultra (malkoppies) will be our last race before Epic . Not feeling very "olympic" at the moment due to stomach bug . Hope it clears up before Saturday !

Thanks Papsak. This race was brutal for one reason: the temperature. When I finished on Saturday, the temperature was 44.1 'C. And Friday and Sunday was nearly as hot. But the route is actually very scenic and very technical at places (which I enjoy). If only they could move it to a cooler April or May...

I wish I was still as strong as 18 months ago. These days I'm much closer to a weekend warrior. I don't race for time anymore. I ride to enjoy it. And I do!

See if you can search clubs on the app. If not, use the web site to apply - it should be quick.

    Default Starva Question?

    Hi Guys

I have been using Strava for a while now but must admit I don't know the app all to well.

Is there anyway to check on a map in me region what routes have been ridden recently by others. In the East Rand area of Gauteng I only know of Benoni Country Club, Modderfontein and Emperors. Would love to try some other lesser know trails that some guys ride.

The web site version does have an explore option. You can search the map for segments in an area.
