Default Slight loss of power - 05' Freelander TD4

    Hi Guys

Juts need some advise. My wife's 05 Freelander TD4 recently started feeling like it just lacking that little bit if grunt low down. Also not sure if it my imagination but when the engine is still a bit cold, it seems to pull better than when the engine is at operating temperature. No smoke from the exhaust and also starts very easy as always.

I do not drive the car everyday but it still does not pull for me like it should.
On the highway it still goes. Took it for a test drive on the highway this morning and still pushed 160 Kph.

I am not sure if the MAF is starting to give problems. I have read elsewhere on the net that a faulty MAF could cause loss of low down power.

Is the MAF the best place to start looking?
Might need to clean the EGR valve as well?
Not sure what else to look for. No engine warning lights on.

    Any advise?
