I used a variety of websites for the info, T4A, DWNP, info from booking sheets etc. It wasn't just copied from another article

Default Re: Useful info for Botswana availability of 50 ppm diesel

    Hi guys

I am planning a trip to Botswana for a couple of friends for June/July 2019. I have been to most of Botswana, but never before required 50 ppm diesel. On this occasion, though, all the vehicles will need 50 ppm and we are all towing off-road caravans. We have a late model Fortuner2.8 with an Imagine Comfortvan, a late model Disco 4 with an Echo Kavango, a late model Ford Everest 3.2 with a Conqueror and a late model Prado 3D with an Echo trailer. Even with the most economic driving, which we all do, we cannot carry enough diesel for the full trip travelling from Gobabis in Namibia towards Ghanzi, Maun, Nata, Kasane, Katima Mulilio and then Shakawe and Ghanzi again before we leave westwards again for Gobabis. Please, let me know about the availability of50 ppm diesel at these destinations if at all? Thanks so much!

Ghanzi, Nata, Maun and Kasane will definitely have 50 ppm.

But the Fortuner, Prado and Disco can run on 500 ppm.

    Hi Ferdie,

I did a trip through Botswana in June 2017, noted the availability of fuel and diesel at some places with prices - there has been a price increase since, so the prices are low. Where I wrote "not sure" I forgot to check! Shakawe does have 50ppm but does tend to run out of fuel from time to time.

There is 50 ppm diesel in all the mentioned locations, so dont worry about that.
