Hi Galla, Very nice pic's!! We are planning a leisure trip down to your part of the woods in February 2014. Would you mind showing us this place? Hehe, quite aware of the fact that I only have a "soft roader"...

1970 C10 4.1 with a 38 Weber carb on it. Wheels are too big, actually, but they are fairly new, so will stay on. Unrestored (that will follow after i do my Dodge and Plymouth one day). Licensed, everything works, drives like a champion, and does not use any oil. Plus it puts a very wide smile on my face every time I drive it. Bargain!

Awesome! That's the best way to do it. Enjoy it AND drive it.

Goodness me, that is nice. I'm guessing 1956?
When I was 11 I learned to drive on a '56 Chevy in the Kalahari. My dad still has it.

It's a numbers matching '55, but your guess was nonetheless good. They are visually near identical (the engine is a giveaway, the 248ci was a '55 only item), in contrast to the Chevys where the bonnet and fender emblems makes telling them apart easy.

It is really good that your father has kept his all this time.
