Default Amarok tow bar with plate

    Hi

I am looking for an Amarok Towbar. The one that has the plate, and removeable gooseneck.

Does anyone know where i can get one?

I am not sure what you need exactly?

The gooseneck is basically only that. You can take it off by removing 4 bolts.

The other removable one does not have a gooseneck...

Smile I dont want the goose nek

    Sorry.

I dont want the goose nek.

I want the one that has a plate that you bolt the tow ball on to.

i have a bicycle rack that fits directly onto the plate, without the tow ball.

I have the goosneck towbar fitted by vw when i bought the Rok.... but am now buying a road caravan - and need to fit a drop plate...

how would I go about this? Do I need to get a whole new towbar fitted? Or can I have the original goosneck modified?

    David,

Just another train of thought. Thule now sells the towball mounted 3 bike carrier for around R1000 that you can just mount on the ball without worrying about the permanent bracket.

. If you have a towbar already this could be a cheaper option.
