    Yo that is expensive.

I got a local sim from a street venda. Paid Mt1000 for 27Gig, placed the card in a data dongle and used it for internet and whatup calls.
That is basically R300 or $15

Vodacom SA also provides a Moz roaming data package priced at R349 for 5Gigs of data valid for 7 days…..if you want to use your standard Vodacom SA number to get started.

I just bought a vodacom all for you international bundle for R199 which includes 100mim and 1 Gig data valid for 7 days. Apparently the bundle is activated as soon as you cross the border and you start roaming international.

This, I have stopped using local sims its just not worth the hassle, havent used it in Moz but have used it extensively in the US and Europe and it works really well.

R99/1Gb or R349 for 5GB for 7 days. If the 7 days are up it automatically renews.

Just be careful with moving close to borders if you have roaming on, a while ago we overflew Lesotho and my phone connected to their network and triggered a bundle.

Moz data is cheap. We normally get sim cards beforehand and this year it is 500MZM for 8gigs.

Kempton caravans sells Moz sims cards for those interested.
