Please, if there is any left I would definitely like one. I live in Pietermaritzburg, but have a brother in Krugersdorp who can also collect for me.

This LED Lightbar mounting solution by John Steyn is excellent. No need for approach angle robbing nudge bar and adds a subtle statement of intent to your vehicle. Great design Johan and thanks for all your assistance.

Reviving the old threat again, any chances of having the brackets made up again perhaps?

I have to admit that the bracket looks brilliant and really compliments the look of the Ranger!

I removed mine as I got warned by the Dealership about fitting non-approved accessories after they replaced the engine under warranty

So I have a bracket and LED bar available for who ever is interested

They do not do welding; I will try and finish it off tonight.

The brackets are designed to fit a 550mm LED Bar (body only - about 580mm body + side mounts). There might be space to fit a led bar that is slightly longer or shorter but you will have to drill new holes.
    Hi guys.

I realise this is an old thread but angelblooms have the perfect solution here, just what I need.

Only my issue is that Iím in Oz, does anyone have a template, dimensions or something off this bracket so I can get something like this made up here. Not interested in the side brackets as my light mounts with bottom brackets so will sort my own brackets but the long bracket that bolts on each end by the lights and that middle support bracket is what I need.

    Cheers.

I just removed my light bar after my mate got a nasty fine on our last trip to the Northern Cape in December and my other mate got nailed in Knysna.

I still have my spots which actually throw more light, I found the light bar to almost inhibit my ability to see far. BUT in the dunes at night when I was stuck, it was the best for turning a large area into practically daylight.

Ouch, the spietkops donít play nice with you guys. Im originally from Pretoria (probably have a different name now) now Iím in Tasmania, and even little cars down here have light bars, most bakkies sport 50 inch light bars on the roof, and spotties on the bull bar.

Its a necessity down here being the road kill capital of the world. We have national parks all around us and the amount of wallabies on the roads is crazy, without a light bar Iím doing 50 at night to avoid them as you donít see them till last sec.

Oaks with bull bars just squish them but donít currently have one fitted on my ranger plus Iíll rather avoid killing them hence the need for a bracket.

Suppose it it depends what light bar you have, some is not that great as you mention. We have lots of twisty roads and bush roads so 400m or so is good for me, itís the light spread on the side thatís important so you can see skippie on the side of the road and try to react before they decide to commit suicide.

This is my light bar for reference if itís of interest https://youtu.be/90hgpvrMlFE

    Thanks.
