And ball joint flip in the front, you can also add a spacer between the ball joint and control arm.... Be aware your CVs might not like the angles very much.... So a diff drop is the next best mod....
Apologies, I should have been a bit more specific. Is there any other shocks besided Camil available?

I am worried about flipping the ball joint on my vehicle. Wont it cause that much more stresses that it actually was not designed for?

My vehicle is still under warranty etc so I guess I have to be careful with what I do to it.

Yes, there is other shocks available... OME, Rancho and even gabriels and Monroes as far as I know.... there should be more...
On a D teq I think 2" lift is MORE then enough...
Not sure how much the angle increase on a dteq with 2" lift... you might be better off adding manual hubs if you go 3" lift...
There was a similar thread about this not to long ago...

    My experience
On my Dmax had the Ironman suspension kit installed and torsion bars adjusted - provided a 40mm lift.
Ride was a little bit harder but not uncomfortable.
    Also had 245/75/16 tires.

On my dteq I had a 2" lift with OME shocks up front - also with 245/75/16 tires.
OEM leaf springs at the back - ride comfort not compromised.

In my opinion a 2" lift is sufficient for most applications. Maybe the guys that do serious stuff needs 3", but I did Baboons with my dmax with only a 40mm lift.

The Isuzus have some amazing articulation as standard. That's why you have to be careful that the shocks you fit can extend that much too.

I'm running 31 (same as 265) BFG AT's at 2.5bar. 2" rear lift from Dune. Koni Extreme Off-Road adjustable shock in the back, set the stiffest setting. Some worn Monroe gas shocks up front.

On tar, it is quite comfortable, but you will feel potholes and ditches in the road.

As soon as I go on gravel, I blow down to 1.5bar. If the corrugation isnt to bad, it is a nice, smooth ride. (My daughter usually sleeps thru a 4x4 trail - no problem)

When I have some extra cash to blow, I would like to get OME leaf pack with military wrap. (I would have been happy with the stock blades if it had mil wrap.)

On the ball joints, You will be fine doing the flip, most of us have done it and there are a few guys that really hammer there KB's but have had not problems with the flip. Go onto the Isuzu forum and look for a guy called Mario. Trust me he is worth giving a call and he is in CT as well.

Alot of the advise you getting is really tried and tested and I also had my doubts but they do work and the mods are reliable.

You can do a simple 2inch lift with a small budget of just around 2K, If you really serious about doing aftermarket shock and redoing springs then you need to shop around. You can even get better rear blades and send you ride to a Bilstein agent and they can manufacture you the correct size shock with the correct stoke. This is not the common one but if you want the lift and comfort its the best you will get and its the better so called OEM lift you can get. As its tailed to you ride height and articulation.

i would do front flip + ranchos. back 3 inch with camils (bit of load help and a little lift) or ranchos rear. will lift it a bit but should stay a good drive. call mario for shackle kit. his prices are good. your going to get articulation which is most importnant.

read the 1st post now. suzu bakkies are not the highest. i would get some rock sliders to prevent damage. much better than a crazy lift to get higher and possibly spoil the ride. small lift and sliders
