    Default 8 metre. 2.3T Sahara Off-road caravan

I haven't found this on the forum as yet, so I was wondering what are the gents comments on a caravan such as this.

    Would you purchase?

    Pros and cons?

Does it retract from the camping experience?

It looks like a lekker caravan, but I think that length will make off-roading difficult, those 2 a/c units on the roof will also make getting it under tree's at your campsite problematic

Probably better suited to rough roads than off-roading.

I don't really see the "offroad" in it (nor the practicality), but for half that money you can get a luxury upmarket normal caravan.

It's soon going to look like the Costa Concordia if you take that thing off road.

So the new models have the air-con relocated and a lower roof line, to compensate for that.

off-road, perhaps such as a trip to Lotheni. It doesn't seem as though it'll make even the Lebombo trail.
Would one purchase this instead of a Fendt for instance?
