    OK, thanks for the best wishes guys... I just got back from the meeting;
"It wasnt your fault and it shouldnt be your problem" are the words from the service manager at the Bryanston branch of Mitsubishi...
... to be honest, i am extremely surprised and (at this point) quite hopeful. He even went so far as to say "the vehicle will be ready for your trip, i will make sure of it"

so... i am waiting till Monday to see what they find once they strip out the transfer case. But even if 'she' cant make it, we'll come in a platkar and join you guys around the fire!

Just to let you okes know....

Just did it this weekend and it is unfortunately VERY dry.

No streams, dam is empty and a whole lot of dust!

    But fun still.....

Just let me find out one of you buggers skipped the extreme trail or that difficult rocky climb where the sign state: "NB! DIFFLOCK ONLY!!" We did it very easily....actually idled up there with the 110.

Each person brings what they want to eat and just chucks it onto the relevant skottle...

    just a thought

    Yes of course dear...

    Right after you -

    Stoked the fire.
    Made coffee
    Packed up the tent.
    Made coffee
    Brought the chairs
    Made coffee
Completed any dangerous tasks requiring the use of sharp and potentially dangerous objects
    and finally....
