    Trawling through some old cycling posts, it was interesting to come across this.

    Definitely haven't dropped the 29r

    I know 26'ers are not manufactured any more by most of the manufacturers, that is why you get those bikes so cheat secondhand. But I think the 29'ers will still be around for many years, I can not see the wheels getting bigger than 29 inch.

    Definitely wont get bigger, but the new fad is 27.5 inch.

    I love my 29 inch, dont think I'll ever go smaller

    Yes, both 26 inch and 27.5 inch are for girls.

    I ride flats. Much to everyone's disgust. But I just cant do cleats, I feel so unsafe and stuck in them.
    A wipe out from just doing a wheelie with them was the last straw!

    I honestly don't know how you ride with flat pedals. Apart from the benefit on climbs, how do you control your bike mid-air if you can only hold on to the handle bars?
