    Default Mozambique Third Party Insurance

    Hi Guys/ Girls

I am planning to head to Moz for the long weekend.

I usually make use of the Outdoor warehouse (outsurance) third pary insurance, but recently I changed to Tuffstuff insurance and they provide third party insurance.

Has anyone had any trouble trying to convince the boarder conrol that tuffstuff is indeed sufficient to travel in mozambique?

Or is it just easier to get the quick outdoor warehouse one?

What third arty insurance do you usually use?

Any advice would be a great help.

Sould have sone this earlier, searched see this is a hot topic, so no need to worry.
Seems it's just easier to pay the outsurance one.

The TUFFSTUFF policy provide cover for third party damage in Mozambique but it is advisable to that you but the Moz third part road insurance as well. Simply put, you do not want to start a debate with the authorities after an accident has happened as to the merits what cover you have. I recommend that you will need to buy your third party insurance from outdoor warehouse.

In the past I've experienced that it seems they prefer / like it more if you buy your 3rd party insurance over there (at the border post)......to support them in a way as well..........8)

Don't know the difference in price but we've always done it there (Kosi Bay border post) and every time it was quick / plain sailing all the way.........

Outdoor Warehouse or at Komatiepoort. I do buy at Komatiepoort and exchange money there. DO NOT buy or exchange at the border, you will be robed

    Default Moz Insurance

Been into Moz a number of times and though stopped and questioned at the border with regard insurance, I haul out my Cross Country Insurance Letter showing countries, value and for what covered.....and am waved on with a smile.
