Looks like a lot of fun was had by all. Goldilocks lost some glimmer there as she looks a bit silverish. Gasman obviously scared the c3ap out of her

SWAMBO rates pic2 of Gasman or rather Goldilocks' going through the mud/water obstacle as a GREAT pic

LOL, enjoy it. Take a warm knitted jersey, it can get a tad chilly there in the N-Kaap.

    We had an awesome day:
    Renier C
    Marauder
    Gasman

This is a new trail that was put up. Lots of new roads and track were put down.
Goldilocks and Marauder's Heep and Renier's Disco was some of the first vehicles over the river crossings onto the island. Here we really battled as the track is laid out for short wheel base vehicles. Goldilocks unfortunately had a light run in with a tree.

Going up the mountain is also very dangerous as you have a lot of loose rocks and soft sand. We chickened out and turned down the mountain. It needs a bit ofrain to compact the newly exposed earth.

BEWARE: Damage to your vehicle is a given.

We will definately do this again. Nice shade at the braai area and a river runs through it.

We can really recommend this playground.

    How long is the trail?
I know it's like asking how long a piece of string is,or what curtains would my wife like, but an idea?
Would it for e.g. take a full day, stopping for grub/wet stuff etc?

    Ditto!

We were there about 4 weeks ago with Johan Swift and the mountain trip took us the best part of 2 hours to ensure every one got to the top!

The Jeep needed no help of course!

River crossing also a bit tricky when the water level is high, Oom Attie is at least around to show the correct line most of the time.

    A definite must do!

I'm still in two minds about getting a bashplate fitted before we go there, the minister of home & decor finance has all funds dedicated towards new curtains(FYI I can fit a complete OME suspension for the same price as a couple of bloody curtains)
