I've search the forum and haven't been able to find a similar thread. Would be really nice to see photos of everyone's camping setup in one thread.

Edit: Please include the setup time as well and pics of setup if you have any.

This was my setup up until a month ago when I sold the Venter Savuti. I'm in the process of buying a new trailer.

I like to keep it simple.....

EDIT - as requested - even if I do it alone, it takes me less than 10 min to set up or break down. The wing just swings open and the 2 beds fold out. I hardly ever use the side panels and draft sheet for the wing but one can add 15 min for that.

Ours is ultrasimple, Turbotent, Natural Instincts from Outdoor Warehouse. Still prefer a ground tent. Sleep on stretchers but no mattress needed. Do not like towing a trailer as feel it may restrict access to some of the places we might want to visit. Also tend not to move camp every 2 days, so as yet no rooftop tent.

Just some random camp pics, in order left first, Piper Pan no 1 CKGR, Rooiputs Kgaligadi, Marble campsite Kaokoland and Sunday Pan CKSUN2.

Set up time about 25-40 minutes.

Depends on assistance from kids and whether I packed the pegs properly the time before.

And when those chairs are finally set up and you park off with a beer, the stress just melts away!
