That is why SWAMBO wasn't with this time... The setup is very different when she is with. I'll have to find pics of that small village...

So, when SWAMBO is with, the setup is a little different. This was taken at an AWESOME camping spot in PE called "The Willows" I highly recommend spending some time there. We went to the 7's rugby in December 2012.

The pic is missing the trailer with the kitchen stuff that normally sits on the right of the gazebo.

It rained a bit and was quite windy on one or two days but we were extremely comfortable. We spent 8 days there. I love the sea and didn't mind at all that this was not in the bush. I enjoyed some excellent, productive fishing which I haven't experienced in a long time. The 2 smaller tents are for my 2 teenage sons.

Man seeing this pic again makes me want to plan another family holiday..

Interesting piece of trivia about The willows is that all the country's in originates there and is then blown to the rest of the land My Brother's Sprite sunway had all the cupboards blown loose on the sides and thwhole van was pushed out of square by the wind.

Must agree it remains an awesome place havenít been for ages but would go back in a blink of an eye

Awesome, I love sleeping in the open, but I doubt that I will be able to stay upright all night in a hammock.

    Where is the location?

Oh and there is no way that swambo is doing that!

you'll be surprised how comfortable it is. You definitely get used to it. I can even sleep on my stomach ... It is a technique that you learn after sleeping in a hammock for a while.

This is my current setup. A Comfort tent on top of a home built trailer modified to take the trailer tent. Very disorganised with everything piled on top of each other in the trailer. But not for long as I have a Metalian Maxi on order and then life will be organised.
These were taken at Marakele in December 2012. We had rain virtually every afternoon and decided to pack up the big canopy during a lull a day before we returned so as not to pack away a wet canopy and side walls. Hence the L-shaped awning in use for the last night.

Can't wait to post my new setup but I still need a proper off road tow bar for the Landy, the OEM one is way to low.
