Fold? They don't fold. They somma get chucked on the back of the bakkie and tied up under the tarp

Bush baby with awnings (pics from Bots trip)

    Tent: 10 mins
    Awnings: 5 mins
Table, chairs, and then a cold one: 5 mins

Looking at these pics I'm tempted to hitch the trailer and go find some adventure!

In action in the Kalahari. Mine is on the right. Takes us about 15 minutes to half an hour to setup depending on the plan for the evening.

    Hi,

Here are a few photos, set-up time is difficult to say as it depends on a number of things. First problem is deciding where and what direction. In a couple of the photos we have a RTT and in the others a Mini Metalian with a Bushwakka tent.

The 1st one shows the awning over the kitchen side, this awning is seldom used, in fact on our last 7 week trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe we did not use it at all but if it is rainy it works well.

The 4th photo also shows a bit of the kitchen awning with the tubing just visible under it, these were supplied by Bushwakka to stop water pooling on the awning, and 1 of the sides. (We have 2 sides)

5th photo this is how we use the trailer most of the time. For a night stop the awning just remains on top of the tent, were it is normally left when we pack up. I unfortunately do not seem to have a photo of when we do a night stop, we do not even use any pegs.

In the 6th photo I actually used the flysheet and 1 side for some extra shade for the fridge/kitchen area.
    Malcolm

Dan maak ek altyd eers ietsie reg, of probeer all my goeters beter wegpak. Ons is seker te intens , presies, "Duits" of vol fieterjasies. Anyway, fotos is as volg:

Die sleepwa was my eie ontwerp en bou . En nie een vat meer as 30-40 min om reg te kry nie.
