Our first camping trip with the new tent @ Keurbooms Lagoon, Plet.

Took a while the first time....much faster now.

I only set up the extension when staying for more than 3 or 4 nights. Otherwise I only put up the 3x3 dome tent section, with a quick pitch gazebo.

Putting up only the gazebo and dome tent is usually done in less than 10 minutes. Including chairs etc. Most of the stuff stays in the trailer and we only take out what and when we need it.

Putting up the whole tent including the extension takes me about 30-40 minutes. Depending on whether mini-swambo wants to "help"......

The rest is very basic. Gas stove for cooking (although when camping I prefer to do most cooking on the fire), 12V LED strips inside and out for light and that's it.

This was last week, at Berg-en Dal KNP for 5 nights, just finished the kitchen on the trailer! and we took it for a test run, all in all takes me 10-15 min to set up.

Lekker!!!!

Henk: if swambo is happy, I am happy and I can relax while camping. Ek werk my gat af wanneer ek nie kamp nie.... werk hard maar kamp net so hard....... Ons moet nog daai Marakele ding doen.
