We are planning a trip to the richtersveld and currently have Yokohama Geolander H/T-S G051 tyres. Am I looking for trouble and should I get other tyres, or could these be ok?

J refers to the profile of the rim flange - ie height of the flange, This has to suit the tyre size used as using a rim with a flange too high or low will change the flex zone of the tyre. A tyre usually has an S shape when viewed in cross section so moving the zone higher or lower will affect the dynamics of handling and could lead to tyre separations in the bead turnup area. Any other questions give me a shout.

Depends what Hilux rims it is. If the holes line up, you'll be okay.

    Hi guys.
    Could someone please assist
I have purchased rims for my 2006 mazda drifter while in tanzania
    The rims are 15x 8
I thought my tires are 265x75x15
I returned to sa last night and checked my tyres this morning, only to find the are 245x75x15

Will they still fit the rims I bought?
