    The Queenstown 4x4
    Off-Road Club Invitation
    Hello............................................. .

You and your family and friends are once again invited to join us on our next 4x4 trail, however you will have to have a 4x4 vehicle that also has low range. If you are looking for a fun filled day of 4x4ing and to enhance the boundaries of your imagination then please make an effort to join us on the 3rd February 2008 which is a Sunday, to this awesome escape.

We will once again be visiting Planet Earth, The Hangklip Mountain area, valleys. We will meet across the road from J.J. Serfontein School and will be leaving from this point in convoy at 9am. To all the late comers, you will have to find your own way out there, the gates have the special type of locking device, phone me for details, all gates that are closed must be closed again behind you, this is very important. But be warned if the gates are locked they will be locked behind us again, this is the understanding that we have with the land owner whose land we drive through to get to the point where we venture off into NO MAN'S LAND.

We will be having a Bring & Braai, maybe at the foot of Hangklip Mountain, with the silhouette landmarks, where all the Cycads are found, bring your refreshments and junk food, do not forget your old underwear. Due to the last few weeks of rain, we will diffinatly experience the unique perspective of that smelly black mud, tackling the ruts, hilly inclines and declines, rocky ledges, come and explore, come prepared and unleash your 4x4 in this beautiful area. There are no trees thus you will not scratch your vehicle if you are careful.

Taking part on a 4x4 Trail is not just about driving your 4x4 to these remote places, but also before you venture out on this adventure, make sure that your vehicle is in a working condition, bring your recovery equipment, fire extenguisher if you have one and some charcoal and maybe a small braai grid. Please note there is no entrance fee, thus you have no excuse that you do not have petrol or diesel for your 4x4.
I have seen a few new 4x4's driving around town, a cool nice looking big red Jeep with 35" tyres and Danie Nell has now had his spring blades repaired.

Please note if it is "potty time" bring a spade along and cover your dung.
Off-road motorcycles will not be allowed, due to various reasons.
For more info and to please let me know that you will be joining us PLEASE EMAIL OR PHONE ME
    082 499 1924 THANKYOU SIMON MORRIS
