Thumbs up Discovery: What have you done with your Discovery today?

So here is a thread for all owners of any type of Land Rover Discovery to come show and tell the rest of us what they did with or within their Discovery today?
It is sort of an obligatory thread to share what you did, be it getting dirty, new kit, service done, mods, fixes, ideas, TIPS (lots of TIPS) new feature identified, saved an appliance, etc... I know of at least three Disco owners itching to share.

Waiting to get mine back from a major service. Just did 6300 kms across the country in a mega roadtrip (Pretoria-Nelspruit-Pretoria-Cape Town-Pretoria-Komatipoort-Pretoria). Watched the computer (yes I know it's inaccurate) go from 12,3l/100km to 10,8l/km over two weeks on cruise control. Can't wait to get my Disco back...best roadtrip ever!

I have not done it myself, remove the whole tank? – can it not be cleaned/flushed out without dismantling it? Also look at the Fuel Filter(s), Fuel Flap and Lock Actuator that they do operate properly.
DISCOEAST has drained D3 before, he could maybe give some tips on the D2 else send him a PM as he indicated that on pre-D3 models it is not that difficult, once the bonnet is open.

Brutus is going to visit some friends tomorrow (Goldilocks) so they can have a looksie at its EPB, rear brakes and turbo hoses. Nothing fancy, was looking forward to maybe getting a bull bar and have that fitted (mmm will have to wait now) till mechanicals sorted - will it ever be?

Best manicure for a white Disco ever I hear. Have you sorted out the brackets for the bull bar yet?

Last week Monday two weeks back I had new tyres put on my D3, 285/70 R17 Kumho Road Ventures. This Wednesday to have the lower control arms changed and yesterday the propshaft packed up. Centre bearing gone and universals dry. The previous company here in PE who done the prop don't know what they are doing. They wont see me again..... Anyway, waiting for Monday to get prices and then replace the rear prop.
